Vehicle Detail
The bike is located in Sachse Texas. Basically North Dallas. The story I got with the bike is as follows: The US put a import tariff on any bike greater than 750cc to help Harley Davidson compete .... so the Japanese made this bike! 1986 Interceptor 700!!! The bike is currently residing in my man cave!! See pic! Look at the pics...bottom of frame, tank, fenders, seat all look very good! These kind of bikes always amaze me because I always wonder how it made it 31 years without getting destroyed! Every bike I had as a kid would get stripped(fenders, lights, etc), spray painted(this was for speed!) and jumped till the bike split in half or the motor blew up.... Recent updates: New tires Front and Rear New Tubes Front and Rear New Fork Seals and fluid Fresh Tune up Turn the key and touch the starter and the bike fires right up! Low Mileage 18K Low Vin number 000492 Recleaned and polished the Carb in case the new owner does not want to ride it. I love the colors...Absolutley my favorite color scheme for these bikes. Pictures do not do this bike justice...really well kept bike. The gentleman I got it from was 69 years old. it does have a couple scratches(see pics) The forks look excellent with no rust or pitting wheels look excellent... shiny.(see pics) Tool Kit and I think the manual. Tires are new fork legs very great.(.see pics) Front and rear brakes work great. Cables work great. Fenders look good handle bars look good The Body decals look good also. Seat looks great Has the what looks like a solo seat but if you take the rear cowling off ...it seats two. Sprockets front and rear are great Rims look good...no cracks or bends front end works great shock works great Only thing not working is the turn signals? Bulbs or Fuse? Matching frame and motor Feel free to ask all the questions you want Thanks for looking ONLY THE DEPOSIT THROUGH PAYPAL. Balance due by check, M.O., Cashiers Check or in person cash. I have a large barn and can store the bike for an extended amount of time so you can get a great shipping rate. It will be parked with the rest of my collection of bikes. If you want to have it shipped several customers have been using a local shipper that I can give you the number for or "uship.com" for extremely good prices. dt1 Bultaco penton husky ossa trails kawasaki suzuki rm60 rm80 rm125 rm250 kx60 kx80 kx125 rupp bronco chaparral gemini ruttman
