1975 Mercedes-Benz 240D Mileage listed on odometer reads as 81,269. Engine was rebuilt by Lloyd Clough close to over 10 years ago, has new liner and new pistons. Rebuilt engine has less than 30,000 miles on it (vehicle was driven daily, but only locally). Transmission has also been resealed. Body has lots of rust, as highlighted by photos. Floors pans and wheel wells have rust but are still fairly solid. Runs and drives well, body has lots of rust, but is still solid and not falling apart, so not much is affected by the rust in terms of the driving and operating of the vehicle. Interior has obvious wear and tear, dash has several small cracks, front wheels do not match back wheels (front two and spare are original, rear two are bbs rims), and rear quarter window is broken (see photos). By no means a show a show car but surprisingly well taken care of mechanically, including good breaks, working lights and regular engine, transmission and fluid services. Back seat was taken out, and a wood panel was attached to the base to use for loading things. A similar set up can be found in the trunk. The structure underneath the wood appears to be decent with some surface rust, but still solid. A back seat in the same color is available with the car if desired. Ac and Heat do not work, radio is not original, windows are manual, battery is included even though it is not pictured. Car is located in central Florida and is available for local pick up.
