My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 75+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2001 Audi A6 Quattro. The Audi A6 is a roomy mid-sized sedan that is stuffed full of luxury and safety features. I would rate the exterior of this A6 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking A6. She is finished in Pearl White, which is a rare color. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific A6, the worst I can say is that there are a few dents on the right side of the car. Please check the photos closely to see them as they may not be easily visible in the photos. The finish shines nicely and looks smooth. The car's body lines nice up nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The windows are professionally tinted and look good against the pearl white exterior. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age. However, the tires look old, worn and should be replaced. If you wish, I can get a good set of used tires installed for $200 that will have about half tread. This would need paid in advance of pick up if you wish to have me do this for you. I would rate the interior of this A6 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The tan interior looks good against the pearl exterior. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show a few marks but are acceptable for their age and are not excessively worn. The leather seats are soft, supple and comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and work properly. I believe the LR window is inoperable. However, the other windows, locks and the sunroof work properly. I'm sure the mirrors work, but the little knob is broken off...which is common at this age. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working. The heater works properly but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The trunk is spacious. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this A6 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few seals to seep here and there...as this is normal. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. She hits the road nice and straight. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally with no issues. This A6 is equipped with Audi's legendary Quattro AWD system, which give this sedan SUV-like capabilities in snow and other slippery weather. Quattro is a purely mechanical viscous AWD system that is far more reliable and capable than the electronic systems put on most cars these days.
