This bike is a wonderful example of a very low mile 1971 CT70 KO. This is an original bike with 458 miles on the speedometer. It carries its original candy sapphire blue paint. I want to make this perfectly clear that this motorcycle does not have a title, but I will give the buyer a bill of sale. The wheels and motor side covers have been repainted with cloud silver paint exactly like it was when it was new. The foot pegs and any black parts have also been painted. This original bike has undergone a total freshening up. All chrome and metal parts, such as bolts and fasteners have many hours of hand polishing to bring back its original luster. The underside of the bike is as clean as the topside. But as with any 46 year old original paint there are a few chips and small scratches to be expected, which just adds to the patina of this bikes originality. Another rare item of this bike, there are only 160 numbers difference between the frame number and the engine number. This is the lowest I have encountered. Parts that have been replaced were replaced with original Honda parts whenever possible. This includes the seat cover, with original heat pressed seams, spark plug, air filter, shift seal, kick shaft seal, carburetor rebuild, front and rear wheel seals, cables, hand grips, brand new Honda muffler, fork boots, green Yuasa battery (very rare) and tire tubes. This bike has the original Nitto tires which are in great shape. The bike runs and shifts great and will bring back old memories. As with any 46 year old bike the warranty ran out years ago so it is being sold in "as is condition". There will be a $200 deposit required within 24 hours of the close of auction and the balance is due within 7 days of the close of auction.
