2003 BMW Z4 3.0 engine car for parts, track car, or rebuild. Car will come with a bill of sale. I do have the salvage title from the insurance company and the paperwork it came with. I also have the dealer assignment of the title to the person I purchased the car from. The person I bought the car from never put the car in his name. I also have a bill of sale from when I purchased the car from him. All the paperwork I have will go with the car. The engine and trans are well worth what I need for the car. So here is the story on the car. The car was damaged (I believe a recovered theft car) and went to an auto auction in Charlotte NC sometime last year. A used car dealer bought the car at the auction then sold it to the man that I bought it from. He purchased the car and did not really do in much with it. He needed some money and put the car up for sale. I purchased it from him in March. I have the paperwork from where he purchased the car and the title from the insurance company. He never titled the car in his name. I do have a bill of sale he gave me when I purchased the car. I towed the car to my house and have done a few things to it. The motor mounts were shot so I replaced them. The car runs and drives well. The cooling systems does not leak. The top is in good shape and does not leak. It took a beating here and there. It is dinged and dented here and there. Mostly in the front fenders and hood. Check out the pics and ask any questions. I will be happy to tell you what I know. Things that don't work - the electric fan does not work. The wiring in the front of the car is hacked up. - the top does not go up or down on it's own. I can hear the motors run but that is it. I just put it up and down manually. -there are a lot of service lights on on the dash. The wiring is hacked up in the front and this may have something to do with it. - the a/c does not work. The lines are not attached at the radiator. -The front bumper has broken clip and is not held on very well. -The volume does not work well on the radio. - dents in the fenders. The hood has a bend and it broke the striker mount on the hood. I added a plate to hold the striker to get the hood to lock down. - I am sure there are more items that don't work so please ask if you have questions. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
