I am having to re-list this excellent 1993 Volvo 240 Wagon because the previous bid winner proved not to be a winner but instead only a loser. If you cannot be honest and pay for the item you win, then please don’t waste your or anyone else’s time. Ok, that being said this Volvo wagon is located in Virginia Beach, VA and belongs to a friend. I’m told it was bought from the original New Jersey family owners in 2013. When purchased the odometer read just over 208,000 miles. It now reads just over 220,000. It is a great local cruiser or second car, is good-running, well-maintained and is priced to sell with a low reserve. Owner just completed Virginia inspection good till 5-31-18. Clear Virginia Title. Bid to win it!Engine/Transmission- 2.3 liter 4 cylinder gas engine with automatic transmission, runs smooth and quiet & does not burn oil. No evidence of fluid leaks on the ground. Previous owner replaced disc brake rotors, alternator, fuel pump, timing belt, transmission mounts, exhaust, catalytic converter and O2 sensor in 2012. Transmission shifts as it should. Has antilock brakes and driver airbag. Body- Black exterior paint appears original and in nice shiny condition. Straight body indicates proper cleaning and polishing & no evidence of previous accidents or damage. Very few blemishes and scratches. Only one small visible rust spot on rocker panel below driver’s door (see photos).Interior/Tires- Very nice seats upholstered in tan leather, only small areas of minor stitching separation at seams, tan carpeting and tan headliner all in pretty good shape. Black dash has no cracks and is nice (see photos). P185/75R-14 radial tires 5-6 years old but good tread.Electronics & repairs- A/C works & blows cold. Present owner made following repairs: replaced instrument cluster, left/right tailgate harness, headlight switch & windshield in 2014, new battery & water pump in 2015, new fuel filter & parking brake adjusters in 2016 & new engine mounts & crank sensor in 2017 as well as oil change, filter & lube.
