My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added tot he final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2006 Volvo XC90. I would rate the exterior of this SUV to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in Silver Metallic over Graphite leather interior, which looks good against the black trim and dark tinted windows. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this XC90. The silver finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. All of the body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gates all open and close smoothly. The alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this XC90 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats are soft, supple and comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The seats are in good condition for their age and show no excessive wear. The only damage to disclose is that the plastic panel on the side of the driver's seat is broken, as shown in the photo. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Access to the 3rd row of seating is simple and there is adequate room for rear passengers. Cargo area is respectable for an SUV this size. The 3rd row folds easily when not needed to allow for extra storage room. Mechanically, this XC90 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The desirable 4.4L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good. You do get some pulsation in the brake pedal under harder braking. I believe it will need rear brakes soon. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages normally and is in acceptable working condition for it's age. Volvo transmissions tend to age a certain way, and I can't say this one is perfect. You get a few hiccups (for lack of a better way to explain it) cruising at low speeds under light throttle. Unfortunately, this is normal. It shifts fine, doesn't slip, doesn't hunt...it goes down the road just fine. Most dealers wouldn't disclose this...but I want to make sure you get the vehicle you are expecting, in case you aren't familiar with these vehicles. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The AWD system is tested and working properly. These are great trucks that are very, very capable...despite being loaded with luxury and safety features. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
