My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answer are found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Volvo S70 sedan with just 116k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this S70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in white over tan leather interior behind professionally tinted windows, which is a good looking color combination. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific vehicle, there is a noticeable scrape mark on the left corner of the front bumper and a smaller scrape along the RR fender. Otherwise, there is nothing bad to report. The body lines are all nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age. Tire tread is on the thin side of average all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Volvo looks. I would rate the interior of this Volvo to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show well for their age. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seat all work. The door locks on the right side do not unlock with the button. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. A full set of books and manuals are included. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this low mileage S70 looks. Mechanically, this S70 appears to be in good running and driving condition. It's worth noting that, if you're looking for an older Volvo, you want to stick with 98 and older. Although the 99-up S70's look identical to the 98's, there are a lot of changes under the hood that make them much less reliable. The 2.4L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. If you listen closely, you can hear a light rattle in the RF corner...but nothing bad. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The ABS light stays on. Otherwise, there have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This S70 has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of July, 2017.
