Vehicle Detail

Up for auction, a 'Great American Wagon', my 1990 Ford LTD Crown Victoria LX Wagon. There was a time when these were everywhere, and everyone that sees this car has a story to tell me. This car is in rare, mostly original, solid, rust free condition, and runs and drives beautifully. Except for a touch of sun fade, the interior is in excellent condition, with virtually no wear to be seen. The carpet, and the original carpet floor mats, are in excellent condition, The A/C is ice cold, and all the power everything works. The three-way tailgate features power rear glass, and opens either as a door or a tailgate. The rear deck conceals a pair of 'rumble seats' completing the true 8 passenger seating. The rear seat back folds flat to create a huge cargo area. The original sound system has been upgraded to a blue-tooth ready Pioneer, which was installed with a plug in kit, as were the upgraded speakers. The original radio is included and will just plug back in as stock. The system sounds excellent, and the car is quiet enough to enjoy it. The dent free, rust free body was professionally repainted about 2 years ago in the original Titanium Metallic Silver in Dupont basecoat/clearcoat. The 5.0 liter (302) V-8 and 4-speed automatic have been fully serviced and function flawlessly, and there are no leaks. The radiator has been upgraded to a heavy duty 4 core all metal one, the ignition has been upgraded, and a new, quiet dual exhaust system has been installed. Heavy-duty front springs have been installed, with KYB gas shocks on all 4 corners. The brakes have been completely serviced, and wagons got the heavy duty brakes standard. The tires, Cooper Lifeliner GLS, have about 5000 miles on them, while the original spare, with tag still on it, is in the tire well with the jack, etc. A Curt hitch receiver has been installed, but the car has never been wired for trailer lights. The car has never towed a trailer. In addition, I have an original sales brochure, original owners manuals, and a full set of Ford factory service manuals to go with the car. This car is ready to go, gets maturely driven regularly, and is garage kept. Look over the pictures. I welcome your questions. Inspection welcome, no test pilots I do treasure my feedback, so you can bid with confidence I would be glad to facilitate shipping, or assist with pick-up, at my disgression. Please ask questions prior to bidding. My car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
