If you're reading this ad, then you know what this car is all about, I don't need to tell you that it's based on the Bentley Flying Spur Platform (the Volkswagen Group D1 platform, is shared with the Bentley Continental GT and Bentley Continental Flying Spur.) 2004 VW Phaeton top-of-the-line 6.0L W12 4 motion model fully loaded. Air Suspension with selectable ride mode. Currently registered in BCIf you want me to email you the carfax report let me know.I bought it in California a few years ago, and have since replaced it with a newer car and never really drove it, but I have simply loved these cars (I had one identical to this before this one for almost ten years!) - long wheel base with black paint (code A1) with the 'Piano Lacquer' (Klavierlack) clearcoat option applied overtop of the black paint. This is the same paint and clearcoat option that I have on my own car (Piano Black with Sonnen Beige Leather interior). This is a car lover's car. I have never enjoyed a car more than this, and I have many, many cars, yet I've already purchased this exact car with but a couple years newer - once you've owned a Phaeton, I promise you will be hooked. Volkswagen, actually Bentley built these to outpace the Mercedes S Class and the BMW 7 series, basically a Maybach with a VW emblem, but eventually outclassed them in all departments. Car has a 'clear title' but a weird "California Lemon Law buyback" declaration - this is even more strange given that this declaration was applied to the car when it was almost new, in 2006 (when it only had about 17K miles on it) so whatever made it a 'lemon' couldn't have been too bad, as the car has been driven an additional 113,000 miles since then!!Outstanding value! Built virtually by hand, oops, I mean by robots' hands at the "Glass Factory" in Dresden, it features the finest materials, innovative technologies, outstanding design and extraordinary levels of comfort. The Phaeton shares many components with the Audi A8L and Bentley marques.The Phaeton was last sold in North America for the 2006 model year, but VW was forced to pull the plug on it after the North American market failed to embrace a VW model with a $180K CDN price tag, selling only a couple thousand units in two years. VW says the Phaeton is expected to be reintroduced to North America later this year.
