For Pleasure or Parts "Luxury 1998 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas" I've owned this vehicle for going on 8 years, and have enjoyed driving her immensely! While her odometer is in the realm of 184,000 miles, her motor carries fewer than that having been rebuilt at Oklahoma City Jaguar about 5 years ago....PLUS she has a new alternator, power steering pump, and various cooling system components, as well. I've maintained the vehicle like an investment, pouring thousands of dollars into her, and she drives like a dream. I do however recommend a transmission service and tune, as there is occasional slipping when initially launching. Whether for parts or pleasure, you will be getting an amazing automobile you can drive home, and one that sold originally for about $60,000. Why am I selling this great motor car now? With the loss of my Dad recently, the proceeds from this sale will offset funeral expenses coming due, and I've chosen a charity associated with the United States Marine Corps, since my Dad (Photo Attached) retired from there in 1970....Semper Fi.Overall body is clean with only tiny spots of rust at the bottom edges of the vehicle. She could use a new paint job to return full luster and shine. Photos reflect condition of vehicle accurately. Payment in-full is due prior to operating this vehicle, and you must secure personal auto insurance prior to pickup.
