My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Ford F-150 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4. The Ford F-150 is a rugged and reliable truck. I would rate the exterior of this F-150 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in tan with a matching cap over matching tan leather interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this truck, you can see some typical rust through along the rockers...but that's about it. Overall, this truck is in remarkably good condition for it's age and mileage. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. All of the exterior trim and cladding are present and show well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. In fact, it looks as if the bed of this truck was never used! All of the chrome exterior accents show well, too. The factory chrome alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber. Tread is on the thin side of average so you should plan on replacing the tires for next inspection. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this F-150 looks. I would rate the interior of this F-150 to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets look good for their age and are not excessively worn. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats also show well for their age. On the driver's seat, you can see that the cushion is torn along the stitching. The leather is clean, supple and comfortable. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seat all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The only bad thing I can point out is that the cab has a smoke smell to it so I'm guessing a previous owner was a smoker. As always, I've done exactly nothing to try and remedy this. I sell everything exactly as I get it. There are several quality products on the market that are designed to combat this. I'd recommend a can of ozone and see where you are after that, if it bothers you. It doesn't really bother me. I only notice it when I first get in. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this truck appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature, excellent oil pressure and feels strong...just like a 5.4 should. The check engine light was on when I got this truck. I believe the code was P1406, if memory serves me correctly. The trunk runs perfectly so I cleared it to see if it would come back. As of now, it hasn't...but I want to make you aware in case it does at a later time. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shift properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Our preferred payment method is Cash in Person. For those customers who plan to have their vehicle shipped or cannot make it in person within 7 days, you may also pay for your vehicle by Certified Check or Bank-To-Bank Wire Transfer. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description. Because we sell with NO RESERVE, we have no way to control how much (if any) money we make per vehicle. This fee helps us isolate a few of our fixed, per transaction expenses in a way that is fair to everyone. The winning bidder is responsible for paying all required fees to their respective state of origin.
