Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1997 BMW 328I with only 65K original miles. I would rate the exterior of this BMW to be in GREAT CONDITION for the age and mileage. As with any older vehicle please expect a few flaws commensurate with the age and mileage. On this specific BMW, although the miles are low it does show some age with the interior (see pictures) The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The headlight lenses are nice and clear, not all hazed up and dull. The headlights do an excellent job at lighting up the road in front of you. The factory alloy wheels show nicely and are wrapped in a nice set rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this BMW to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. Both front seats are in great shape and heated. The leather seats are nice. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater blows hot and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The audio system is an aftermarket CD Player and sounds good. The trunk is spacious and clean. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. The Soft top is in excellent condition and goes up and down perfectly. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.5L straight 6 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight, Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on this highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The BMW 3 series convertible has always been a good looking and well built car that is comfortable, smooth and quiet to drive. With this BMW only 65k from new it deserves your serious consideration.
