Vehicle Detail

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 in fair condition Vehicle is currently fully operational. Some issues could use repair. If purchased in a state requiring a safety inspection some of these repairs may be required. Vehicle will be sold as is. I've done my best to capture all issues that I'm aware of in the list below. Any issues with the vehicle will be the buyers responsibility. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thanks! -Engine light on for evap system leak code. Does not effect operation of vehicle but will need fixed to pass Maryland emissions test. Fix in past has been leaky hose. Should be relatively simple repair.-Left turn signal lamp needs replaced. -Front left brake line is rusty and pitted but functional (no leaking). Front right brake line was replace a couple years back due to leak. Needs repaired for Maryland inspection.-Brake rotors have some rust and minor pitting. This is mainly due to the fact I don't drive this vehicle daily. Brakes do work well with no noticeable grinding or pulsing but rotors will probably need turned in order to pass Maryland inspection.-Clamp on muffler is rusted and broken. Inspection identified exhaust leaking around the clamp. Muffler is rusted but I don't see any holes in the muffler at this point. Looks and sounds to be fully functional still. -Multiple running light bulbs need replaced. -Drivers seat adjustment controls partially functional: Seat movement forward/backward is a little choppy, Vertical adjustment is not functional, Seat tilt is fully functional-Head gasket was replaced about 30k miles ago. Still some oil film on engine block but no other signs indicating issues with the head gasket (no oil/coolant mixing, exhaust is not smokey)-Transmission replaced about 30k miles ago.-Emergency break cable broken at handle in center console-Transfer case makes some noise when coasting downhill (chain dragging?). Current transfer case is a used part installed for trouble shooting. Original transfer case is better quality but case is opened up. Needs seal replaced and case sealed back together. I will provide this transfer case as well.-Tires have acceptable tread and are functional but showing some signs of dry rot. See pic.-Inspection of rear axle seals identified a small amount of fluid leakage. Seals will need replaced to pass Maryland Vehicle Safety Inspection but issue is not bad enough to prevent driving the vehicle.-Drivers side and rear passenger sides window motors have failed. Windows have been locked in the closed position.-Vehicle was in a minor fender bender about 10 years ago that only resulted in scrapes on the front bumper.-Vehicle was vandalized about 10 years ago leaving some chips to paint and now some small rust spots on the passenger side door.-There is an outstanding recall related to the airbag and the aftermarket trailer hitch that needs to be inspected. Both can be completed at this time by a dealer free of charge.
