My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drivees. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Land Rover Discovery SE with just 108k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Land Rover to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in Zambezi Silver over Black leather interior with matching black exterior trim. The silver finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you 'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Disco. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber. Tire tread is thin all around so new tires should be on your short list. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Land Rover looks. I would also rate the interior of this Land Rover to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. As usual, the headliner is sagging a bit in the back. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather seats are comfortable, clean and show no excessive wear. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroofs all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Land Rover looks. Mechanically, this Land Rover appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. It is worth noting that this engine has an audible "tap" at idle speed and low rpm. It seems to go away at working speed. If I had to guess, I'd say maybe a lifter or a weak chain tensioner...but I don't know. I noticed it, so I'm passing the information on. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description.
