Up for sale is my 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. I bought this car for my mom but she has decided she doesn't want it anymore. I have way too many projects to ever get around to it so it needs to go. Overall the car is in VERY great shape with the ONLY rust in it being the rear floor pan where the battery sits and the back package tray where the back glass leaked on it. I have those spots pictured for you to see. The body itself is in great shape with no rust in it at all, it has all its original glass. The pass. front fender has been replaced at some time with a later model fender so you will need to get another 67 fender for the pass. front. The front bonnet, rear boot and the doors open and shut really nicely and solid. All the wiring is in great shape on the car and even the glove box is not rotted out or trashed. The side rocker steps are solid and nice, not broken like most are. The interior is nice but will need new foam and covers on the seats. The door panels could be repaired or replaced. It does come with new black front door panels that have never been installed. I have a new horn ring and button that comes with it and the original radio and plate are still with the car. They were in the front bonnet when I bought the car. All the electronics and lights seem to work great when you hook a battery up to the car. I have installed a new fuel pump on it and new plugs. The car will run as long as its bottle fed. Somewhere between the fuel tank and the pump the line is clogged so it will not suck gas from the tank. It will suck it out of a bottle. THIS IS A DEALER INSTALLED A/C CAR. The A/C unit is under the dash still and all the A/C lines and condenser are still in the car. The A/C compressor is the only thing missing. I have checked the brakes and they seem to be in good shape, the drums have been cleaned and refinished. I removed the wheels, had them blasted and repainted the factory white they came in and put BRAND NEW tires on it. Tires are only acouple months old and have 0 miles on them. The factory center caps are in the car but are in sad shape as pictured. The original jack is even still in the car and appears to have never been used. This is a very original well kept and preserved 1967 Beetle. DO NOT PASS UP THIS DEAL! Very hard to find one so clean and in such rust free shape. 1967 is one of the most popular years and the first year of the 12 volt system. I will meet a truck driver with the car locally as a semi cannot get down my street. The car can be picked up at my house if you are picking it up yourself. I have the car listed for sale on other sites and locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime if it sale locally. A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of the end of auction with the remaining balance due within 10 days of the end of auction. I do have a clear Louisiana title in my name.
