1960 Ford F-100 Short bed Original Truck done Garage Truck Hot Rod Style Truck History: This truck was purchased as a fleet purchase by Hayes Kansas Concrete. The color I would describe as Hugger Orange this color was not offered in 1960 but was factory painted this color as several trucks were purchased on the order. This is factory paint with 1 respray on the cab several years ago. Hayes Concrete Logo still on truck under current Atlantic Gasoline Logo. The truck was then used by Doyle Farms in Beloit Kansas. This is two owner truck showing 48k miles. The truck had sit for years when I got it last fall. All the systems needed replaced. I spent the winter making this truck a driving unit it is today. New brakes, master cylinder, clutch hydraulics, rear seal, sparks plugs, points, cap rotor, all new fuel system gas tank cleaned new fuel lines, carb rebuilt (Thanks Mikes Carbs! Great Company!!) Fuel pump, new generator, coil battery, good tires....... You get the point the list goes on. I do not restore ole trucks, I bring them back to life. This truck is very original with just a slight garage flare added. I put on cone tail lens, peep mirrors and lowered front end 4 inches. Other then that a very complete, unmolested non-hacked example of 1960 F-100. Truck only has rust issues in upper corners of floor boards (Still very solid floors holes are in upper corners but rest of floor very solid) and cab corners. I would describe entire bed as rust free, frame in great shape. Truck drives good, steering tight. Truck is far from perfect but is a great example of original truck from another era. Its an honest truck. All gauges work, lights work. Only item not working is windshield wipers and heater blower motor needs replaced. I have set a very reasonable reserve price based on amount of parts I have put into this truck. Making money is not my goal, finding the right owner is......
