Im selling my 1966 Jaguar Fixed Head Coupe. It has all matching numbers. It is painted the original black exterior. It comes with the certificate of authenticity stating its is an original black on black car. This car has been completely disassembled and the body was media blasted to bare metal. It was E Coated right after the car was media blasted. Monocoque body panels were used to fix the minor rust repair. The engine and Independent rear suspension was completely rebuilt. All the cadmium plated parts were stripped and replated. Complete re chromed front and rear bumper. It is missing both rear uprights. All the glass comes with the car as well as the chrome trim. New front and rear shocks. Front and rear brake rotors rebuilt with stainless sleeves by White Post restorations. Headlight trim re chromed. New rear tail light assembly from SNG. LUCAS headlights. New rear springs. Many new parts included. Ceramic coated exhaust manifolds. The engine frame was media blasted and powdercoated gloss black. Perfect match with the body color and much more durable than paint. The front "picture frame" was replaced with a Martin Robey part. I have the original picture frame no rust just dented at the bottom from jacking damage. I can add photos as requested. I can install the drivetrain, IRS and put on old wheels/tires for transport. I added the photo of the original ID plate, body tag and Made in England badge. The car comes with the original radio. The gas tank has been chemically cleaned and recoated/painted. I have a original radiator but the tanks and a bit dented. The rebuilt radiator fan and blade are included. Tom Haddock the author of Jaguar E-Type Six-Cylinder Restoration & Originality Guide Paperback – May, 1991 is familiar with this car. He said it is a concours quality restoration. Tom used the gearbox for illustration purpose for his upcoming restoration guide book. I can provide his contact info to serious buyers to support my description. It comes with the seats and boxes of SNG Barratt new parts. The main LUCAS wire harness is included. New Dayton chrome wire wheels & knock off in original SNG boxes. I purchased the car from the ex President of JCNA Michigan. He can also help answer questions about the car. I am also selling my 1970 series 2 roadster. British Racing Green with Biscuit interior. It has been restored but not concours quality. Asking $80,000 OBO see the last few photos. Tom Haddock is also familiar with this car and will be in his new book. Yes Obviously nicely detailed etc. Can you send an image of the engine number on the cylinder head and on the block please. Have the carbs all been rebuilt...jets, needles, floats etc.? The carbs are all clean and look like they were all gone through. I am assuming they are rebuilt I assume you have all the linkage? Yes Is there a new fuel pump, I sent a photo. it looks like a good used one sump and filters, and do you have the tank mounting brackets,Sent photos fuel lines, I think i'm missing the fuel line that goes under the car etc.? A complete new exhaust system is needed correct? correct Has a new clutch been installed, flywheel resurfaced? I have not taken the trans off the engine. all looks great outside but I dont know for sure Was a new water pump installed? I dont know What is the condition of the header tank? Is there a complete new hose kit? I believe i have them all I sent photos but not sure if I have them all New clamp set or the original Cheney clamps? Some cheney clamps but dont think its complete What is the status of the heater box? rebuilt Have new heating tubes been installed? I do not What is the status of the alternator and various relays, if known? It looks like they were rebuilt. I can send more photos You mentioned you have all the bright work parts but only the front and rear bumper blades have been re-chromed, correct? I also sent photos of the A pillar windsheild chrome trim. Those are re chromed Do you have all the front headlight parts, scoops, glass covers, mounting bits and pieces?
