Have to part with our great Studebaker, second owners and restorers of this rare truck. A full one ton with a single axle is not common, plus a stick shift! The 259 original motor has been carefully rebuilt and it purrs like a kitten. The after-market dual hoist was installed in 1958 by Cancade Bros. in Brandon. the original sticker is there. The body was in great shape, minor wear...and if we had been thinking, we never would have painted it! We have the before pictures as well. There are only 558 miles on it since the engine was completely rebuilt with valve hardened seats, new pistons, rings, etc. (whatever else my husband said.)The asking price is well below what we put into it, but age is creeping up. It is kept inside and started faithfully every month. Our Stude has made the cover of Studebaker International Magazine in May 2014 with the story inside.
