This beautiful 1971 Karmann Ghia coupe is a vintage automobile that is all original. Absolutely all of the interior is original from 1971, including rubber lined carpet, seat upholstery, headliner, original AM radio which still works, the cardboard glove box compartments which is in excellent shape as well. The dash top has a carpet patch in the middle, and the woodgrain dash face has small cracks, please refer to the pictures, other than that they both are in good shape. The original headliner is in very good condition with no tears or stains. The original 1971 paint job has a few small cosmetic imperfections (please see the pictures), otherwise the paint is still shining vibrant and bright as the vehicle was mostly garaged for the better part of the last 25 years. All of the electrical is functioning, including gauge lights, rear view mirror light, windshield wipers, turning signals, horn and emergency lights. The front trunk is clean, and lined with a carpet kit which is in excellent condition. Also there is an original spare tire with added white wall insert in the front trunk. All the original chrome is intact including front and rear windshields, body molding and emblems, that are all shiny and in outstanding condition. Window rubber seals are in excellent shape and are in no need of being replaced anytime soon. This Karmann Ghia is in excellent running condition, the engine's runs strong. It starts right up every time at the turn of the ignition key and idles good. The brakes are working great. The floor pans are solid with no signs of rust. The white wall inserts were installed to add to the classic and sporty look. The engine decklid sports all VW Karmann Ghia scripts. The original bumpers are in great condition, with shiny chrome and virtually no imperfections. The ghia comes with original 43K miles, and the odometer had not rolled over An fully original Karmann Ghia is a very rare find. This 1971 Karmann Ghia Coupe is a nice dependable, clean daily driver.
