Up for sale is this ultra unique 1965 MUSTANG SALEEN SUPERCHARGED. Unmolested, beautifully preserved SoCAL original car was the basis for this build. Complete drivetrain conversion includes 4.6L GT motor with Saleen Supercharger, 5 speed automatic transmission and 3.73 limited differential by Currie Enterprises. Bad to the bone car with wonderful manners much like modern day Mustang. Power rack and pinion steering offers soft but controlled feel and steers these huge tires with ease. Power Wilwood disk brakes with booster from late model Mustang provivde EXCELLENT braking {that kind of touchy feel you get from a modern car, strong enough to put you throught the windshield - in other words, a stark contrast to stock brakes}. Mustang II coilover tubular front suspension and 4 link setup in the back from Rod & Customs. Fully adjustable height and rebound. Car can go up and down, soft to stiff in minutes. I'm running pretty aggresive setup with the highest stiffnes and fastest rebound. You can make this car as confortable as you wish. I like my car to be nicely planted to the ground without any floating or flexing. Suspension on this car is vastly superior. All mechanical work performed by trained technicians at local Ford dealership. 900 miles on mechanical restoration. Cosmetically it received a widebody conversion with parts supplied by Maier Racing. 315/25/19 tires all around mounted on black chrome 19” wheels. High end body work and paint just completed along with customized interior. About 150 miles on cosmetic restoration. Car is a very good driver as documented in the videos {about 80 miles of total driving – in other words mare than 10x times the typical test drive..}. Very much like a modern day car in a classic car body. Reliable and sound. One of a kind. Don’t try to build it yourself and end up spending twice the asking price. Price is firm. Cash deal.
