I have decided just list it NO RESERVE as it is. A friend told me about the van and I bought it. but have not yet found the time to put in getting it back on the road it and I am now moving into a new building for my business It is located in Tempe Arizona. Technially 2nd owner, however it is documented original owner, original miles, original first issue title. The original purchase receipt is also included from the dealership where it was purchased in Scottsdale. History as I know it. It had been maintained 100% and had passed emissions yearly/biyearly from 1976 until 2010. 2010 is when it was last registered. Snce then it has been stored here and there by the owners, and when I bought it was latterly in the horses barn. Go figure. it is no a barn find that has been tucked away for 30 years though. The Engine was replaced with a new engine along with all accessories, driveshaft rebuilt, clutch at 155k miles in 1996 according to the receipts included. It has not ran in a few weeks now. Last time tried to start it gas was just coming out of carb, floats stuck, flooded out the plugs and it would not start. It will will need a battery and a carb rebuild or at least clean out float bowl to run. There are even carb rebuild kits included with pretty much everything needed in the van.. the tires are at least 7 years old, I would replace them also. I still may find a couple hours to getting it running again before the auction ends, so check back I will update the listing. I will also update the listing with photos of the inside of the back of the van, the engine compartment and the engine cover installed before the auction ends. I used split photos so I could show more photos of the van. I will be uploading 7 more photos with multi photo layouts.. This is 318, 3speed manual manual trans Exterior: The body has 1 area where rust is actually holes on the passenger rocker. No where else on the body Not underneath, not frame body seems - its pretty amazing (see pictures of underside). there isn't any holes or weak spots on the rest of the body, under the doors, or any other typical places. it is just surface rust everyone calls patina these days. Interior is in very good shape. the seats, dash and components all are in very good to excellent condition. . I personally think its in amazing condition despite the rust area on the passenger rocker. The title is in name of the original owner. I will put the title through my name at the DMV prior to shipping or you picking it up, or shipping it unless you request otherwise and would like to be second owner on the title. This really is such a great van, I prefer the next owner show up, pay cash and take it the old fashioned way. Otherwise lets do payment by bank wire transfer. its the safest way to send money electronically. I will not accept paypal for payment. If you want to have it shipped it is easy. There are local transport companies that can arrange the van to be picked up within 5 days and delivered with another 5/6 all the way cross country. Shipping out east would be about 500 to Cali and about 1200-1400 out east. Please do not quote me on those numbers, contact Parker or another transport company for your own exact rate quotes. Again the van will now start and runs, goes into gear and can drive!!!On Mar-15-17 at 20:04:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Trying to start it tonight I flooded it out twice, this carb will definitely need to be rebuilt. The plugs are pretty fouled also from flooding repeatedly. The battery is still not holding a charge, I have had to use my battery charger to start it.On Mar-16-17 at 07:03:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Tried this morning and she started and ran. let I ran for about 4/5 minutes. Shut it off and it flooded on the restart. I hope this additional info helps you with deciding to bid or not. I do not want to have a winning bidder that did not read all this. On Mar-17-17 at 07:34:33 PDT, seller added the following information: The van started up this morning. It stalled about a minute in and I couldn't get it to start again. The black wheel shown on the van is the spare wheel. the other white rim wheel is included. the tires is flat. Also, seen in the photos of the underside - you can see where I was cleaning the first half of it - I sprayed it all with a general purpose cleaner and wiped the dirt/dust off the frame and underside. For about $2500.00 in parts and labor, I can have my mechanic do all the major maintance, tires, and get it into running driving road worthy condition. This a great old van. Hope the new owners appreciates it as much as I do. thanks
