Vehicle Detail

Real 1969 Road Runner 383 4Speed. Complete resto 5 years ago, less than 1,000 miles since. Spends its days under a cover in my garage. Driven ~10 miles a month to keep everything working. Lots of new AMD sheetmetal - NO rust anywhere on this car. Runs and drives great - all period correct parts including points-ignition and AVS carb. Please contact me with any questions! On Mar-03-17 at 07:44:11 PST, seller added the following information: Fender Tag Added per request. The car is the original interior and exterior color. On Mar-04-17 at 08:24:51 PST, seller added the following information: To answer a question: This is a real Road Runner - an original 4 Speed Car. The VIN matches the Fender Tag, the Radiator Support and Trunk Drip Rail all match. The Engine and Transmission are not originally from the car (I got the engine out of a '69 Charger, the Transmission's VIN is from another '69 Road Runner). There are no performance modifications - it has the cast-iron Mopar Road Runner intake, the Carter AVS Carb and the breaker-points style ignition. The cam is the "Purple Shaft" Mopar cam that matches the original factory specs. On Mar-07-17 at 04:50:12 PST, seller added the following information: 4 Speed is great, no growls, no leaks, shifts nice and stays in gear.I never pulled the gearset out of the rear axle because it wasn't whining or leaking, so I don't know the ratio. (Did replace the axle housing seals, though). It feels like a 3.23. I'm not sure about the SureGrip, but I'm guessing not since I can jack up 1 wheel and turn it by hand with the other wheel on the ground. One recent small oil leak out of the oilpan. Just a drip or so after shutting it down. Suspension was completely re-done. New rear leaf springs, every bushing replaced -front and rear. New bump-stops, too. New balljoints, tie-rod ends and idler. New shocks on all 4 corners.Car has manual steering, manual brakes and no A/C.It would probably be easier to list what hasn't been replaced, but here is the list: New Floorpans, trunkpan, trunk extensions, wheel housings, dutchman panel, rear window corners, both full quarters (C-Pillar down), both front fenders, hood, bumpers, driver's side front subframe. I'm sure I'm forgetting something - but it was a lot!All windows work - tracks were cleaned, lubed and any bad plastic rollers replaced. There is no rust on the car anywhere - it hasn't even seen a dew, much less rain or snow. It spends its days under a car cover in my garage.Interior is brand new with Legendary Seat covers, carpet, door panels, headliner also new dash pad and package tray.On Mar-08-17 at 03:57:57 PST, seller added the following information: One issue that came to mind as I was looking over the car. The lower-left rear window trim doesn't want to stay in its end clip. It'll probably need to be taken off and re-bent to curve more inward or replaced. The entire rear window trim set can be bought for $250 through AMD.
