For sale, a 2003 Suzuki Volusia VL800Z. This bike has a liquid-cooled, 805cc V-Twin powerhouse and a 5 speed transmission. Shaft drive transfers power to the rear wheel. This is the much sought after Suzuki 40th year anniversary model which has pearl white factory paint with gold pin striping and an orange backlit speedometer. Studded driver and passenger seats. Cobra foot boards for both the driver and passenger as well as a heal-toe shifter, a tall windshield and original factory auxiliary driving light bar. Chrome hi-way bars and a backrest with luggage rack. The exhaust is a set of Hard Krome extra long 3 inch American Classics. Includes studded black leather Saddlemen saddlebags (removed so the bike could be properly cleaned) New filter and fresh oil change as well as the original factory tool kit. It even has a battery tender installed. Simply plug it in and it will automatically monitor your battery and keep it in top shape to insure quick and easy starts every time. This battery tender even works when storing the bike for extended periods. Check out the pictures! The end caps of the Hard Krome exhaust pipes are losing their luster and the saddlebags are in good condition for their age. Seats are perfect with no tears or rips. A few very minor scuffs on the rear fender but no cracks or chipping noted anywhere else. You might find very light rust on the chrome here and there but, other than that, this is one fine bike! I'm not going to tell any stories... With the currently installed exhaust system, this bike isn't your "sneak-in-at-four-in-the-morning" machine. Those Hard Krome pipes make it sound off with the classic deep rumble of a true street cruiser. If you prefer, there is a company named SmartPartz that makes easy-to-install baffles for these pipes that will reduce the sound levels substantially. Personally, when I'm out and about, I like to be heard any time... day or night. It's my philosophy that "loud bikes save lives". This bike also comes with the original factory pipes in very good condition, in case you prefer that muffled factory sound. Kelly Blue Book lists this bike for $2705.00 in excellent condition. Mileage of 16,192 falls below the KBB average expected mileage for a bike of this year and size. This is a very nice bike with a lot of chrome, a whole lot of extra goodies and a very good listing price to go along with it! Nice tires with many miles left on them. It has the usual wear for a bike this age. I know it seems early in the season to advertise a motorcycle but, it is tax time and spring is just around the corner!
