Up for sale is my 1978 Datsun 280z. It has just over 16,000 original miles; the odometer works and is accurate. This was one of two 280z's built for the international car show and is in very good condition. It is painted in factory "Sunburst Yellow", has custom black stripes, and a velvet interior. A couple of small spots of rust where the paint has been chipped (see photos); the rest is rust-free. Recently, a new clutch, front rotors/calipers, and wheel bearings were installed. A cam was also installed by the previous owner so it is a little lumpy at idle. The aftermarket sunroof does not leak. It has a 5-lug wheel conversion. There is no radio. It has a factory 4 speed transmission, and it shifts smoothly.Drove this car 4 hours the other day. Heat, A/C and defogger all worked and temperatures stayed cool. All gauges (including back-lights) work except for the clock. Hazard lights, indicators (front & back), interior lights, engine light, and wipers all work. Brake lights do not however. There is a rip in the driver's seat. This car mechanically is in great condition. Has some small cosmetic items that can be fixed cheaply and quickly. I will do my best to answer all questions.
