Hello & thanks for looking! This is my wife's 2008 Lexus GX470 which we've had since it was new & purchased through Ray Catena Lexus. We live in Old Greenwich, CT This GX470 has been the grocery getter & kids run around vehicle. It is in good condition and has been mostly dealer maintained. It runs and drives perfectly with no smoke, engine noises, rattles or anything odd. It tracks perfectly straight with no pulls at all to the left or right when driving or braking. The engine runs as smooth as the day it was new. I just ran a "CarFax" report & it's perfect. I'll figure out how to post it later tonight. REPAIRS AND MAINTENENCE: Maintenance has been done regularly. Some of the bigger replacement/repairs have been recent brakes (roughly 1,500 miles ago) which included pads and rotors. The alternator was replaced approx. 1 year ago & the front struts were replaced 3 years ago. The battery is only four months old. as well as the tires which you can see are nearly new. I can't remember exactly when but the timing belt was replaced when it had 65,000 miles on it. The GX has never been in any accidents but the hood was repaired six years ago after a tree branch damaged it & the windshield was replaced after a highway pebble cracked it. We have had it maintained by the dealer mostly but I have been going to a repair guy that I've known for 15 years. He is a licensed BMW, Lexus, Mercedes and Audi mechanic. He was trained and worked at the dealers but then opened his own shop in Stamford, CT. If you're local, I'll pass along his name. He's a brilliant mechanic & the nicest person who will loan his personal vehicle if you need to run out while he is working on your car! INTERIOR: The interior has some wear (two kids) but I am getting it fully detailed & it will be done before you buy it. The driver's seat has a tear but we have an appointment to have it recovered in two days. The passenger front seat has one mark (smaller than a dime) but that's it, the balance of the interior is in good condition. The rear 3rd row seating has only been used a few times & is perfect. There might be a small spot or two on the carpet under the floor mats but those will probably come out when it's detailed. EXTERIOR: The exterior paint looks great & shines like it was new. AS you will find on any vehicle, there are a few very small marks from inconsiderate people opening their doors against it. Not bad but I want you to be aware. On the rear bumper, you will see in the photos that there is a small scratch/almost crack right on the top/inner that's roughly 2 or 3" long. Hard to notice if you're not looking for it. If you look at my feedback, you will see it's all 100% positive. I've sold cars and boats (along with the regular stuff) & have NEVER had a complaint. You are welcome to come have a look and drive it or you can have a mechanic come and give it a complete inspection. I would have no problem or worries about jumping in & driving this across country. It's a great vehicle. The only reason we are selling is because a close friend had a 2013 Range Rover which he was going to sell because they simply never drove it so he asked if we wanted to take over his payments. We got the almost new (3,100 miles) R Rover for almost half the price as new so I couldn't pass up the offer. This Lexus GX470 is for local pick up only! I can add or edit photos since there are bids & there are a LOT of questions about the bumper "Crack" that I mentioned. I've started another listing with a photo of that plus the CarFax report. Go up & search for a "1900 Opal". You will see the Lexus & the bumper has two arrows pointing to the crack/scratch. It's insignificant. Watch out for the last minute "snipers". Lots of people have received quotes for shipping and many keep asking me "what's the magic number" to sell it. This morning, I noticed the GX was sitting low in the rear. It's at the dealer right now & they said one of the rear air suspension bags is leaking & needs to be replaced. I told them to replace both & it's costing me $1360.00 This will show up on the CarFax in a week or so but I will provide the receipt. I picked up the GX from the dealer who said the air suspension bags were in perfect condition & that it was an electronic solenoid/valve that was the problem. UPDATE: The rear air suspension bags were not replaced, the dealer thought that was the problem but they said it turned out to be a solenoid/valve & fixed it. This GX has a rear back up camera, GPS navigation, sun roof, CD changer. I have an appointment to have the driver's seat bottom re-covered Monday morning. As soon as it's finished, it's going in for a complete interior cleaning & exterior polish/wax from "Splash" here in Greenwich, CT (NOT cheap!). I have answered all questions but again, I highly suggest you either come & take it for a drive or get a mechanic to come over for a complete inspection. It is a used car, not brand new & I don't want anyone to take delivery & be unhappy about anything. It's a great car which I'd hop in & drive to California right now but it isn't brand new & it doesn't have a warranty. I've described it very accurately but I've has a few people point out "I see a small mark on one of the wheels" and are there any nicks anywhere on it"? As I said, there are a few MINOR door dings.
