1973 Porsche 914 1.7. original engine with fuel injection. Extensive rust repair in floors and longitudinals. Front and rear chrome bumpers in great shape, good front and rear bumper tops. Heated rear window. Intermittent wipers. All calipers work great, front and rear pads in good shape. 19mm master cylinder. Fully functioning hand brake with new cables. Engine was re-rung during ownership, small leaks from push rod tubes. Stainless steel heat exchangers, car has great heat. Three small cracks in dash pad, in great shape otherwise. Good back pad. All lights work. Pilot driving lights installed in place of factory ones, but original lights included with car. European rear light lenses. Recent clutch (less than 10,000 miles on it) Car was Ziebart coated, area under gas tank in great shape. Recent shocks all around, with new correct hieght rear coil springs. New tires within the last 10,000 miles. Great center console with factory look gauges. Temp gauge added to main gauge, oil pressure gauge added to center console. Full owner's manual kit including warranty and maintenance book showing engine number. Pertronix breaker-less ignition. Starter has been replaced. New clutch and accelerator cables, with replacements for both included.Set of alignment shims included. Car has older Maaco paint job on it, but it looks ok going down the road. No signs of any accidents in any part of the body. Fuel injection works flawless, idles high at warm up and then drops down when warm. Car gets 300 miles on a tank of fuel. Jack posts were NOT re-installed to prevent rusting. Stainless steel fuel lines runnning through the center tunnel. Stainless steel heat exchangers, car has great heat. Car's odometer shows 97,688. It works, not stuck and trip odometer works as well. Mechanically the car is as sound as can be. Very dependable, has only been towed twice in 18 years, both times due to the points failing in the distributor. Pertronix breakerless ignition installed soon after. Major structural rust has been taken care of. No door issues at all when opening or closing door. Heated rear window works, but needs to be resealed. No signs of ANY accident damage, front or rear.
