Vehicle Detail

I am the second owner. Unfortunately, I must now sell because of Parkinson's Disease. So my loss will be your gain. This is an absolutely beautiful bike. The Good The paint looks just like it did on the showroom floor. The two-tone (Black/Red) paint scheme creates a perfect pattern to set this bike apart from any other. If you want to own a bike that will be unlike all the others in the parking lot then consider the Valkryie. The 6-cylinder opposed motor is flawless, and if you like chrome then this bike has lots of it. More importantly, the motor is a strong, horsepower generating, torque machine that will leave all the others sitting at the line. And the sound of that motor is like nothing else on the market. Think of a finely tuned Formula 1 race car or the sweet tone of a Ferrari. Once aboard you will enjoy the phenomenal power and overall quality of the ride. Starting from a stop is smooth and well controlled. The frame and suspension system set the bike up for smoothness at speed and especially into the corners. You will feel the balance of power from the motor with the dynamics of the smooth suspension as you push through even the most challenging corners on the Tail of the Dragon or you own local favorite rides. This is the perfect bike for commuting, touring, or just cruising around. It starts, runs and handles great. Synthetic lubricants have been used in the engine and rear drive since new. Lots of extras for this bike. There are no dings, dents, or major blemishes. As noted below, though, there are small items that I believe should be pointed out in the effort of an ethical listing. This is no rust. The engine/transmission has no drips, no leaks, and no surprises. Bullet proof drive train. Honda Interstate bags and mounting hardware with the factory Honda bag rails. A medium height Switch Blade windshield, with removable mounts, has been added for rides that need a little protection. With the bags, backrest, luggage rack, windshield, and the overall setup of this bike you can ride effortlessly all day or be very comfortable while cruising your hometown. A set of Piaa x1100 driving lights are mounted just under the factory headlight and offer a great enhancement to the driving conditions. The switch for the lights is mounted very professionally on the handlebars and there is room to add other switches or plugs. Along with the lights, the bike is now wired for a dedicated GPS system (see the mount on the left side of ) and has an extra mount on the other side for a cup holder. Suspension is enhanced with the addition of a set of Progressive adjustable rear shocks (11 1/2") and a set of Dunlop E3's with less than 1500 miles on them. This bike is hardwired with a battery connect hookup for your charger. For added safety, the bike has an Alpine mega blast airhorn that will help you be seen. There are also a number of extra items that I will include such as a repair manual, extra chrome for the bags protection, etc. I have posted a video to youtube.com which shows a walk-around of the bike and a startup. At the end I also place the camera below the pipes so that you can hear it start and rev. See the video here: https://youtu.be/QQ9OhFYYNBc The Bad There are only two small blemishes and they are hard to see. The first is on a saddlebag, so take a look at the right side (as the rider sits atop the bike) along the unguarded top edge to see the first one. It is hard to see in any of the photos except one that I've blown up pretty much so that in shows the mark. You will see a short scrape that does not penetrate the paint but is present in the clearcoat. Remember, this is enlarged so that you can see it, so it isn't nearly as bad as it looks in the photo. The other blemish is so small I'm not sure it can be easily seen. I've tried blowing it up like the first, but I can't get a good shot of it. It is a small rock chip in the bottom of the front fender. It looks like something bounced back off the engine and into the fender. Like the first one, this does not penetrate the paint beyond the clearcoat. The Ugly Shipping/Delivery -- Buyer is responsible for setting up the pickup, delivery, and shipping -- if necessary. While I am confident in the bike's overall condition and have reported it as accurately as possible, but no matter how good our intentions or plans there are times when things go wrong. I do not foresee it, but just in case I must add that there is no warranty implied or expressed by any part of this listing. Offers and Exchanges I have the bike listed locally for sale and have a standing offer. Because of the local offer, I will not consider any offer at less than the original value/bid amount in this listing. I will, however, consider partial payment by way of an exchange for a truck or sailboat of similar value.
