This is a One owner 1985 BMW 524 TD (E28) 100% rust free California car. The car is spectacular and runs like new. The engine purrs and idles as smooth as a Rolex. Runs super clean (no smoke). The transmission shifts on the mark and the entire drive train is solid and tight. The brakes, steering and suspension are in good working order and the car is an absolute pleasure to drive. The car always runs at cool temperatures and does not have any fluid leaks other than a couple drips of oil we observed after moving the car from where it sat for 2 weeks. No puddles, just literally a couple drip spots. The temperature reading in the picture below was taken after the car running for 1 hour. All mechanical, electrical and climate control systems are in proper working order. There are no warning lights on. This car has 315,668 original very well maintained highway miles. The car looks, runs and drives like it has 70-80k miles, it is impressive to say the least. The paint has a lustrous shine, with no dents or noticeable imperfections. There are minimal chips, nicks, dings, etc. The overall appearance is outstanding and there is no one spec of rust on the body or chassis. All of the windows work, as does the sunroof, air conditioning and 8 way power seats. The interior is in great shape (see pics) with very little wear. There are a couple hairline cracks on the dash which is pictured below. The car comes with a nice set of floor mats and trunk mat. The tool kit is incomplete. All of the weatherstripping, body trim and lenses all are in above average condition. Not only is this a great looking classic but it runs like a top and gets 30 mpg average.
