When I am in the market for a used car, my only requirement is I don't want to purchase any car that requires additional money to make it reliable and dependable. And this car is just that. . .It requires nothing. I recently worked for BMW for five years and everything in this car is current. My 530i runs very smooth and strong due to all six recently replaced ignition coils, computer updates and synthetic oil since new. The engine uses approximately 1 1/4 quarts of oil between oil changes, every 6000 miles. The AC blows very cold. The following have recently been replaced: new radiator, new windshield/gasket/trim, engine air filter; charcoal AC cabin filters; new OEM grills; new OEM door sills and misc. trim pieces. Any necessary parts or trim pieces required over the 10 years I've owned her are BMW OEM or better, such as new ABS Module, Stainless Steel Braided brake lines and BMW brake fluid flush, BMW OEM window regulators, belts, hoses, fan shroud, BMW OEM coolant. The brake pads and rotors are all BMW OEM with the exception of rear Brembo rotors. The only stock brake system which performs better than this BMW is a Porsche. The window tint is relatively new with no peeling, discoloration or bubbles. There are no oil leaks or water leaks of any kind. Known problems for the E39 besides the cooling system are oil leaks from both the valve cover and oil filter housing; brand-new radiator and heater pipes under intake manifold recently installed as well as gaskets to address any oil leak problems. Oil pan gasket recently replaced. Additional known problem is water leaking from inside the door panels which puddles in the carpeted floor boards. Again, there are no oil leaks or water leaks of any kind. The headliner is loose in a couple of places. This is a drivers car featuring Dinan Stage One suspension which consist of Dinan tuned Koni Yellow adjustable shocks and Dinan lowering springs. Dinan is to BMW in the same way AMG is to Mercedes-Benz. 2001 BMW 530i SPORT PREMIUM. Sport Package which includes Sport Seats, Sport Suspension, 17" Sport Alloy Wheels, Multi-Function M Sport 3 Spoke Steering Wheel. Premium Package with Power Seats with Driver Memory, Rain Sensing Windshield Wipers, Wood Grain Trim, Homelink Garage Door Opener, In-Dash CD Player with Auxiliary/MP3 Port and Power Sliding Glass Moonroof. Halogen Headlights with Angel Eyes. The only reason I am selling this car is because I bought a 3 series before I left BMW and I don't need two cars. All I am asking for this car is fair market value. If you can meet my asking price, You can take the car home with you.
