Selling my 1-owner 1997 Dodge 3500 4x4 extended cab welding rig. 305,000 miles. I bought the truck new in 1997 and immediately converted it to a welding rig. In 2012 I had the truck professionally painted which included removing and sandblasting the welding bed. The new paint used was high quality Spies Hecker. The only reason for repainting the truck was because the clear coat oxidizing in places. This truck has never been wrecked or had any body damage fixed. Interior was redone by professional upholstery shop with all Katskins leather. Original carpet still looks like new. There are no rips or tears in the seats and everything is in top notch condition. The sagging headliner was replaced at that time as well. Added custom A-pillar gages with pyrometer and boost gage. Dash is in perfect shape with no cracks. Drivetrain is all stock except for fuel plate modification and 4" exhaust (all done at end of factory warranty - 100,000 miles). KDP was addressed and fixed early on with no issues. No oil leaks. Add-on BD exhaust brake with microswitch and gearshift-attached switch (push-pull see pic). NV4500 and 241HD transfer case was completely replaced in April 2015 (5,000 miles ago) along with new Valair dual disc clutch and front and rear drivelines replaced from Blumenthol in OKC. The motor has never been apart and shows no signs of wear. Welder is a Lincoln Classic III D that I purchased new in 1998. It currently has 9,550 hours and has been serviced regularly. Comes with remote w/cord, torch hose, and leads. Everything still operates as new and has never had any issues. This truck is adult owned and if you cant tell I'm very particular about maintenance and upkeep. You will not be disappointed by anything on this truck. It is the nicest 12V you will find. It weighs in at 11,000 lbs and gets 17mpg consistently. Tires are nearly new 235/85/16 Toyo M55 and have about 90% tread remaining. Rancho RS9000 shocks on front and 5000 on rear. Supplemental ride-rite air bags on back. Has trailer brake and 5th wheel plates. Original (barely used) dually bed, bumper, and tailgate pictured IS included with the truck. This truck needs nothing. It is a money-maker and ready to go to work. Runs like new.Looks like new.Much less expensive than new. I figure the truck alone is worth around $15k. The welding bed would cost around $10,000 to purchase and the welding machine is worth about $5,000. That's $30,000 total to build this rig. Buy it all here in one place ready to go for less than that. I am listing this with no reserve because I'm confident it will sell at a fair price.
