I bought this car around 1980 and drove it for 8 years. In 1988 life got in the way and I parked it in my uncle’s barn. I pulled it out last year when we sold the property. The wheels would not turn so I pulled the wheels and found the brakes bound up so I took out the brake pads and shoes and put them in the trunk. That is the only work I have done on the car. The car is barn fresh and the mice have camped in it for a few years but it is pretty much all there. I believe this Tiger had an amateur restoration in the late 70’s. It is certainly not a numbers matching all original car. I was told the motor is a 302 from an early 70’s Mustang but I never confirmed that. The seats I was told are from a TR6 and I think it has the wrong speedometer. When it was restored the extra chrome trim strips that Tiger had were left off. I always preferred the cleaner look. If you are looking to have a concourse car this would likely not be your preferred starting point but to do a hot rod or restomod this could work out well. The car ran in 1988 when it was parked but obviously everything would have to be gone through to put this back on the road. I had the car registered in Massachusetts for 8 year but it was not titled and cars that old did not need titles back then. It is therefore sold with a bill of sale and a copy of the old registration. The car is available for inspection of course and I suggest you check it out.
