This car was recently built using a real 1926 Model T roadster body. The chassis and suspension are mostly from Speedway using a 2X3 square tube chassis with an I-beam front end using a transverse leaf and a 4-bar setup. The car has disc front brakes. The car uses a cross steer setup to minimize bump steer. The rear end uses custom built ladder bars on an 8 inch ford rear with adjustable coil-over shocks and drum brakes. The car is powered by a 350 Chevy and a TH350 3 speed automatic transmission. The shifter is from B&M. The car is well laid out, and the build quality is very good. The 350 has a polished aluminum intake and an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. and HEI ignition. Cooling duties are handled by an aluminum radiator. Because this is a ’26 body it has opening doors on both sides. The car has a usable trunk, and storage under the seat also. A simple change of wheels & tires would completely change the look of the car, so you could easily customize the car to your specific tastes. The body is 90 years old, and has some dents / etc., but it wouldn’t be that big of a deal to paint the car and further customize it to your liking as it is far more solid than a lot of them I see for sale for a lot more money. Car is titled as a 1929 Ford Tudor and has a clear Illinois title, so getting it licensed or insured in any state should be no problem. You would have a tough time building this car for what I’m asking, and that would only be if you have the ability to do all of the work yourself. This car is a running / driving hotrod that can be used and enjoyed just like it is….Or change some things up and finish it out your way….Either way it’s a good deal on a very well built car.
