I have a 1996 Dodge B2500 van equipped with a wheel chair lift. It has the Q'straint floor wheel chair restraint system with seat belt for one position. It also has a fixed shoulder harness (non-retracting). The van features a Braun VanGater lift model no. 7684L in good working order. The van is in overall good condition. It does have a few dents, I have attached photos. The van had some rust on the top. I removed and treated the rusted areas, spot primed, and spot top coated with clear enamel. So, at present there is no rust. Top of van will need to be painted if the appearance bothers you. Mechanically the van runs good. I have recently installed new tires, brakes, idler arms, and front shocks. We spent over $2100 on the repairs. It will need a muffler soon. I bought this van to take my brother to and from his doctor appointments, etc., but he has since passed away, therefore I no longer need the van. I also installed four new speakers. This is a good value for a used handicap van. It is good for transporting someone who is in a wheel chair. But I would not recommend it for a handicapped person to drive by themselves. The van was originally a custom van from Primetime Conversions. I installed the lift, restraints, etc. after I got the van. I have two center captains style chairs that were removed for the lift install if you want them.
