Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 2004 Ford F250. I am the original owner and have personally worked and performed all maintenance on the truck. Although there are a lot of good diesel mechanics out there, unfortunately there are also a lot of hacks. I have used AmsOil in this truck since the first oil change in 2004 and always changed it on a tight maintenance schedule. Fuel Filters have been changed on a regular schedule always using MotorCraft parts. Additionally, to add fuel protection I have also installed a racor Fuel filter and water separator in front of the factory Ford fuel filters. To insure clean fuel I have always used Stanadyne Performance Formula Diesel Fuel Additive in the tank. Around 110K miles (2015) I removed the heads and had the work performed by a local machine shop. They were maganafluxed, surfaced, pressure tested and I also had them install bronae valve guides (if you know anything about 6.0 Liter motors, the heads included the valve guides). Duffin Machine shop performed all the machine work and they have an excellent reputation for quality. Engine was reassembled with the ARP Studs, complete original Ford Gaskets, new glow plug harnesses, various other harnesses, and new down pipes. Upgrades and modifications too numerous to list here (See list below). If you want a truck that has been completely bulletproof-ed, well maintained and taken care of, looks great and will go an additional 300,000 miles (if maintained properly) this is the truck. The 6.0 liter did have it's problems when they rolled out of the factory in 2003 (this motor is a late model 2004) but if properly maintained and bulletproofed (EGR delete, oil cooler replaced and the installation of ARP head studs) this truck is hard to beat for reliability, power and mileage. These were all installed as a preventive measure and not because it was broken.I wanted a truck that was going to continue to be reliable, got good fuel mileage and looked good. As a result I have always monitored the vitals of the motor for that very reason (EGT, Oil temperature, coolant temperature and Fuel Pressure). I was going to keep this truck for quite a bit longer; the reason I put about $15K into the truck in 2015, but things have changed. The truck has never been wrecked, garage kept and has no rust. Car Fax available in PDF format. Also if you would like specific pictures, let me know. Will also include Carhart front seat covers (passenger and Driver as well as console). I have always used seat covers for protection. BakFlip tonneau hard cover cover ($800) will also be included. I also have a full size truck cover that covers the complete truck. The truck has been garage kept and was driven as a second vehicle and used mostly on the highway. Mostly used to pull a 14 ft. trailer with brush and also motorcycle trailer. If you want a truck that is reliable, performs well for pulling or any other type of truck work, you should consider this truck. I understand we all buy trucks for different reasons. You are making a significant investment and should buy what makes sense for you.
