Hello,this listing is for my 1962 Grumman Kurbside aluminum stepvan on a Chevrolet chassis. It was rebuilt in the late 1980`s/early 1990`s on a 1978 P20 chassis and used by the builder as a hauler/tow vehicle for his race car and motorcycles,and was driven all over the country. It has a 350ci V8 engine,automatic transmission,independent front suspension,tilt column,power steering,power brakes,and disc brakes up front. It even has dual fuel tanks! The van would have originally come with I-6 engine,manual transmission,manual drum brakes,manual steering,etc. So all of the hard work is done if you are looking for a driver-friendly vintage step van to promote your business. And if you ever needed a part,most parts stores stock everything for the chassis that it is on. It starts easily,runs good and seems to drive well. The front brakes are all new. It has good 16-inch tires all around with the rears being new. All of the gauges are from the 1978 donor vehicle and are in working condition. It also has cruise control,which will work if you replace the broken cable that controls it. I am unsure of the ratio in the rear axle,but it is not too tall and is able to maintain highway speeds. It has sliding doors on both sides,and both have roll-up windows. Lights and signals do work. Working heater. This van has an all aluminum body with the only exception behing the front step wells and a vent that was added above the rear doors. It is 18` long overall,6`9" wide,and 8`4" tall. There is 10` of room behind the seats,the cargo area is 6`4" wide to the walls,and 4` between the wheel wells,with a 6`1" interior height. It starts,runs,drives,and stops well. It did sit for 3 to 4 years before I acquired it so I`m not sure if i would hop in it and drive it cross country,but I have driven it around locally with no issues. Have clear IL title in-hand.
