**OK Folks!! Here we are for the 3rd time - a NO SHOW for the 2nd time!! Last "buyer" never responded at all even after emailing him!! UNBELIEVABLE!! Welcome to eBay play land, keep your hands down at all times - unless you actually plan on buying this!! - and ENJOY the ride!! Might also want to check with the wife first before bidding :) ** Up for auction is a 1979 Ford Bronco second generation XLT ranger package that runs and drives good. I purchased it from a good friend this past summer. He had owned it since early 2000 (originally came from Washington) and had always done good maintenance on it and it has always been road legal and drove often. I realized I just won't have time to give it the TLC I wanted to do as I already have 4 other big projects I would like to get done and finish a barn I am building. The motor is a big block 351 modified that has been rebuilt. It has some performance parts like a RV cam, Edelbrock performer intake/carburetor, Mallory distributor and wires and a new radiator. The transmission is a C6 automatic that has also been rebuilt. The body is factory dark emerald green and the paint appears to be mostly original. It does have some rust and dents but not terrible. It will need exhaust and a steering link as it does have a little slop in the steering that just started this year. It also needs glass for the rear tailgate. The interior is not too bad for its age and on the rare side, it has captain bucket seats with fold down armrests and two-tone black and grey seats with a center console. Also has factory rear roll bar, removable top, 15X10 Mickey Thompson wheels with 33" tires, and a 4" suspension lift kit. This Bronco would make a great restoration as it is a complete Bronco, or, you could drive it the way it is as my friend did. My reserve is at the low end of typical market value.
