I am selling my 96 civic ex. This car was built to compete in autocross last year. It is by NO means a show car. Does have exterior flaws but not bad for a weekend racer. Car came from GA last year so has barely any rust at all. No quarter panel rot. Current inspection sticker. It is amazing fun on mountain roads and can handle anything you throw at it.I had alot more plans for it but I decided to go back to school and have no room to store 4 cars. Great car to build for next race season over the winter. 185,7xx miles. ENGINE: D16y8 engine. Head gasket replaced and head shaved flat 1 1/2 years ago. Hasn't used a drop of coolant since. Engine uses almost no oil between oil changes which is amazing for a 20 year old Honda. Oil always changed with Penzoil 5w30. JDM style power chamber intake IM ported for B18 throttle body. Manifold cut open and ported inside. Painted wrinkle black. Power steering delete. Cold AC. REPLACED IN LAST YEAR 1/2: Clutch, Flywheel, Throw out Bearing, Battery, Exhaust, Clutch Slave Cylinder, Tires. TRANSMISSION: XTD stage 2 clutch with 12lb flywheel. Brand new throw out bearing. B&M short shifter. Trans does have the typical Honda 2nd GEAR POP OUT . WILL NOT STAY IN SECOND. Rebuilt trans for this car is very cheap. All other gears work good. I drove it in its current state for 1 1/2 years. Just no second. EXHAUST: Dc 2 piece header welded to one piece with custom 2in collector. Custom 2.25 in piping with dynomax bullet resonator and jones muffler welded in to turn down in back. Exhaust is really loud but sounds really good. SUSPENSION: Eibach pro springs, Koni orange str-t dampers in back and synergy dampers in front. Black BWR subframe brace with ASR 32mm away bar out back. WHEELS: Rota gt3 wheels plastidip gunmetal. Brand new Dunlop Direzza DZ102 205/50 r15'. INTERIOR: two prelude seats. Rest of interior is fully gutted. This includes all of the sound tar removed with dry ice. No speakers in car but wiring still there. EXTERIOR: Custom mixed smoke grey color. Painted 1 month ago. Paint job is not professional. It is the first paint job I have ever done. 5/10 quality. CTR style headlights, Smoked tail lights, Custom made Japanese style time attack aero kit. Fenders are cut with air extraction vents at rear. Kit was designed by me and not a professional but a lot of time went into it,. The sunroof is also removed for weight reduction and sheet metal rivited to close the hole. Roof is sealed with aircraft grade sealant to be water proof.
