My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Mercedes-Benz 300D TurboDiesel sedan. Normally, I give a little introduction of each car at the beginning. If you're looking at this car, I'm pretty sure you know exactly what you're looking at and exactly what you're looking for so I'll skip the formalities. I would rate the exterior of this 300D to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The worst I can say about this Merc is a rust bubble (still under the paint) about the size of a quarter on each front fender...not bad for the age and mileage. The tan finish shines nicely and looks as smooth as glass all around. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a proper matching set of Michelin's with good tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Mercedes. She has had the same owner since 37k miles and it shows. I would also rate the interior of this 300D to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. A full set of factory floor mats, as well as a full set of owners books and two master keys are included. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show almost no wear. The power windows, locks, seats, sunroof and mirrors all work properly. The wood veneers show well and indicate that this car has spent it's life in a garage. The audio system is original and sounds good. A factory CD changer is in the trunk. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It's a little cool out to get a good read on the a/c but the heater works great. The trunk is spacious and clean, too. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this 300D. Mechanically, this 300D appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L six cylinder turbodiesel engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and there is not excessive blow by. Her road manners are excellent for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times. She makes good power and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and striaght with absolutely no complaints. She cruises easily and accelleration is smooth and effortless. I'd drive this Mercedes anywhere without a second thought. If you're looking for a well cared for diesel Mercedes, this car should be at the top of your list. This 300D has had only two owners since new, and the most recent owner has owned it since it had just 37k miles. There are plenty of Merc's out there that have been all used up and hung up wet. It's nice to see one that was cared for the way these cars were meant to be cared for. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Mercedes-Benz 300D TurboDiesel sedan. Normally, I give a little introduction of each car at the beginning. If you're looking at this car, I'm pretty sure you know exactly what you're looking at and exactly what you're looking for so I'll skip the formalities. I would rate the exterior of this 300D to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The worst I can say about this Merc is a rust bubble (still under the paint) about the size of a quarter on each front fender...not bad for the age and mileage. The tan finish shines nicely and looks as smooth as glass all around. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a proper matching set of Michelin's with good tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Mercedes. She has had the same owner since 37k miles and it shows.
I would also rate the interior of this 300D to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. A full set of factory floor mats, as well as a full set of owners books and two master keys are included. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show almost no wear. The power windows, locks, seats, sunroof and mirrors all work properly. The wood veneers show well and indicate that this car has spent it's life in a garage. The audio system is original and sounds good. A factory CD changer is in the trunk. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It's a little cool out to get a good read on the a/c but the heater works great. The trunk is spacious and clean, too. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this 300D.
Mechanically, this 300D appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L six cylinder turbodiesel engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and there is not excessive blow by. Her road manners are excellent for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times. She makes good power and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and striaght with absolutely no complaints. She cruises easily and accelleration is smooth and effortless. I'd drive this Mercedes anywhere without a second thought. If you're looking for a well cared for diesel Mercedes, this car should be at the top of your list. This 300D has had only two owners since new, and the most recent owner has owned it since it had just 37k miles. There are plenty of Merc's out there that have been all used up and hung up wet. It's nice to see one that was cared for the way these cars were meant to be cared for. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers, PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $49 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
