I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Mazda RX-8 with the desirable 6 speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this RX-8 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking car. It is finished in a medium gray with gray and black two tone interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Mazda, there really isn't anything noteworthy to report. The finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass all around. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels look good and are wrapped in nice rubber. Tread is on the thin side of average all around. You could probably get another year out of them depending on your personal taste and individual state's inspection laws. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this RX-8 looks. I would rate the interior of this RX-8 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. A set of factory floor mats are included. The seats are clean, supportive and show virtually no wear. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is the original AM/FM-CD with BOSE speakers, which sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. The trunk is clean and pretty accommodating for a sports car. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this RX-8 looks. Mechanically, this Mazda appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.3L rotary engine starts right up and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Cornering is aggressive and solid. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. These cars are an absolute blast to drive. The high revving rotary engine delivers power smoothly and feels strong. The clutch engages smoothly and doesn't slip or chatter. Gear changes through the six speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This RX-8 has had just one owner since new and only has 101k miles on the clock. She looks to have a brand new NY State inspection, too. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Mazda RX-8 with the desirable 6 speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this RX-8 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking car. It is finished in a medium gray with gray and black two tone interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Mazda, there really isn't anything noteworthy to report. The finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass all around. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels look good and are wrapped in nice rubber. Tread is on the thin side of average all around. You could probably get another year out of them depending on your personal taste and individual state's inspection laws. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this RX-8 looks.
I would rate the interior of this RX-8 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. A set of factory floor mats are included. The seats are clean, supportive and show virtually no wear. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is the original AM/FM-CD with BOSE speakers, which sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. The trunk is clean and pretty accommodating for a sports car. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this RX-8 looks.
Mechanically, this Mazda appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.3L rotary engine starts right up and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Cornering is aggressive and solid. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. These cars are an absolute blast to drive. The high revving rotary engine delivers power smoothly and feels strong. The clutch engages smoothly and doesn't slip or chatter. Gear changes through the six speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This RX-8 has had just one owner since new and only has 101k miles on the clock. She looks to have a brand new NY State inspection, too. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers, PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $49 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.

There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced, reconditioned and inspected.
