2005 Jeep liberty Limited Edition 2.8L Diesel 4x4 178,500 miles Story Behind the Selling: I drove up my road and gave it some gas(slight incline to my street), noticed billows and billows of white smoke(sweet-smelling) pouring out the back of the car and a loss of engine power. I pulled it over, called a tow truck and they towed it to the Dealership. Once there they(Dealership mechanics) said it was a blown Inter-cooler system. I had that replaced and when they took it for a test drive the RPM's raced up to the max and the car was re-diagnosed as having a bad Turbo(according to Dealership mechanics) After some thought and research, I had the car towed back home and here it sits for sale As Is,Where Is. I am not a mechanic not claim to be one, so my knowledge of the problem is by what the Dealership told me. Check Engine light is on due to: Needs Glow Plugs Needs Turbo EGR sensor is bad Other notable stuff: Brand New Tires in June 2016 New Inter-cooler system installed by Dealership August 2016 Radiator flush-July 2016 Oil change-July 2016 Transmission flush-July 2016 178,500 on a Turbo Diesel 2.8L engine Only accident was I got bumped from behind while crossing a railroad tracks. The other car had damage, not mine. Report was filed due to other car damage and my toddler son being in the car at that time.
