Up for sale is my 1971 Super Beetle. Odometer shows 6800 miles, I assume it has ran over. Runs and drives fine; new brakes and tuned motor. This is the 4 speed manual transmission, and shifts just fine. The accelerator cable has been adjusted but could use a little more tension for higher speeds. I've driven this car distances of up to 50 miles at 60-70 MPH. This car drives great for its year. The car does have a fresh paint job and does show dripping marks on certain aspects of the car. Nothing to major but I like to disclose everything about the car before I sell it. The gas cable to open the gas tank needs some tinkering. It closes and opens but you will need to open the trunk to perform each task. The AC system is still on the car but not hooked up. Sway bars and brakes and tie rods have all been replaced this year. Brand new TIRES!!! The interior of the vehicle is clean, the seats have been reupholstered and are in great shape; the headliner is the original white and will need to be redone but is not an issue.
