Up for auction is a 2000 Ford E350 Econoline bucket truck with a Versalift. There are 158,011 miles on the engine. Like many vehicles over 10 years of age in PA, the title lists the mileage as “odometer disclosure exempt by federal law”. We are not bucket truck experts, but we took some time and learned a bit about the operation. If you have any questions, please ask and we’ll do our best to find the answers. This truck was used by a local restaurant franchise owner to change light bulbs at their restaurants. The truck runs well, the lift operates properly, and it’s ready to work. It was recently PA state inspected. The bucket runs off the truck engine. Fire it up, jump in the bucket and you’re in the air. There is also a remote set of controls in the van. There’s a large inverter in the truck as well. While the truck is solid, there are some body imperfections….some rust, etc. We’ve taken a couple of pictures to give you an idea. The undercarriage looks solid – please see the pictures for a better idea. The only thing we have found that isn’t operational is the driver’s side window and the cab air conditioning.
