Vehicle Detail

I am an OCD hobby mechanic who loves to work on cars. I purchased this 2005 VW Beetle turbo diesel for my high school daughter three years ago. I have invested a lot of money and time to make this car absolutely perfect! As a turbo diesel, it averages around 38 mpg in the city and 50 mpg on the highway! I had the front bumper repainted to repair nicks from road debris but quickly learned Beetles are prone to such damage because of their low profile and minimal clearance road clearance. To protect the bumper I purchased a Le Bra cover which prevents road damage and adds style. As both the front and rear VW emblems were faded, I purchased new ones and had them professionally installed by a body shop. I have replaced the following parts:1. New battery.2. Timing belt, water pump, tensioners, and rollers replaced at 90,000 miles.3. Replaced both front axles.4. Passenger side headlight HID Igniter ballast and wiring unit. 4. Front and rear brakes replaced at 88,000 miles.5. Fuel filter, 6. Serpentine belt.7. Radiator hoses, thermostat, and coolant temperature sensor.8. Windshield washer pressure cylinder for passenger headlight jet.9. Battery fuse box.10. Radiator fan control module.11. Complete coolant system flush.12. New AC Compressor, expansion valve, R134a vacuum and recharge13. Complete brake system fluid vacuum and replacement.14. Rear trunk latch.15. Both side view mirrors.16. New heavy weather VW floor mats. 17. All four tires replaced with Cooper CS5 Grand Touring Tires at 90,000 miles ago. 18. New VW wheel covers on all four tires.19. Just purchased a custom dashboard cover. The only outstanding issue with the car concerns the glove box latch which is broken. I hope to have it repaired within the next week. This car has been garage kept and meticulously maintained, detailed, washed, and waxed. We constantly get complements from people all the time when we are driving it. The fuel economy is unbelievable - better than any vehicle we have ever owned. The turbo diesel is very fast, great pick up, and the AC is ice cold! This car has never been in an accident and has a clean Carfax report. The car presently has 103,694 miles on it. Please research the VW TDI engines online. This car will last well over 300,000 miles if properly cared for. I am heartbroken as I write this ad because I have invested so much in this car. The ONLY REASON I am selling it is because my daughter has gone through her Beetle stage and is looking for a more "modern" vehicle. It handles exceptionally well with very tight steering, incredible acceleration, and holds the road like a glove. This car is an absolute value for anyone fortunate enough to win the auction. It is reliable and the fuel economy simply cannot be matched. Two weeks ago, I drove it from Virginia to New Hampshire and only had to fill the tank once! I am not looking to profit from the sale of this car or even to get all of my money back. Please do not contact me with low-ball offers as I would rather keep the car than to give it away. If you are the next owner, please know you are truly getting an outstanding car which will last many, many years, and save you tons of money in fuel costs. As I am OCD and constantly scrutinizing every detail of this car, I will also throw in my copy of Bentley's service and repair manual. It an encyclopedia of repair instructions and guidelines. Thank you for viewing my ad and best of luck! On Oct-16-16 at 05:54:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I am an OCD hobby mechanic who loves to work on cars.
