Up for auction is a 1970 Cougar with low miles on rebuilt 351 Cleveland engine. Good for project car or parts. This car was originally purchased new by my wife's childhood neighbor. Her father purchased it from the neighbor sometime in the 1980s and we purchased the car from him in 1995. We had the engine rebuilt in the beginning of 1996. Since the engine rebuild, there have been intermittent issues with overheating. Because of this we have only used the car for local driving since then, thus the low milage. The last time the car was driven regularly was in the summer of 2015 while having one of our daily drive vehicles serviced. The car has not been driven since then. We expect the purchaser will have the vehicle towed to its new home.
