This car sat in a Barn for around 15 years. This is Vin # SPL31100553 and is considered a 1965 -1/2. The first 1000 Datsun 1600 Roadsters were given that. The Odometer shows 31k miles. The car was last inspected in 1978 and the Title was issued in 1990. Overall the car is very straight with minimul rust in the pans and little in the rockers. The engine was supposedly rebuilt many years ago and was never started and I don't believe its a matching number. The car is pretty solid and complete and will make a great builder.
