1998 Chrysler Sebring JX Convertible with 109,158 miles. Vehicle is in good mechanical condition, is a fun summer car and has been a reliable daily driver for my commutes. First, what's less than perfect. AC does not work. I don't know if it just needs a charge or might be a more extensive repair. The fan/blower (HVAC) only operates on high setting (it's off or high). It might be an easy/inexpensive fix but again, I don't know. Passenger power window works but is slow and sometimes needs a little push or pull to make it up or down. The convertible top functions very well but has crease wear in the joints so there can be minor leaking during heavy rains (a few drips to the back seat area). NOTE: While listing the vehicle I see that there are replacement tops sold on ebay for this car for $269 with free shipping...I wish I had know that a few years ago! The body has a few dents, there's some superficial rust and the car has a few rattles when your driving it with the top up. It is, after all, almost 19 years old. What's great. The engine runs very well...starts right up. New starter and battery installed this spring. Tires are good. AM/FM stereo cassette sounds good, all speakers work. Car drives straight and true, no pulling (though the steering wheel is not centered). NYS inspection valid through March, 2017. Simply put, it makes for good, reliable transportation and is great fun to drive to the beach in the summer...enjoyable to have the top down in the spring and fall too...and the heat works just fine for winter.
