Gorgeous solid real sweet chevy k10 ! I never figured this day would come , but things are changing in my life . my pride and joy truck, that I get compliments at every gas station, red light, and fishing stream is going to go up for sale for someone else to enjoy. I looked through about (100 truck) 1973-87 Chevy pickup trucks before I finally found this original 1977 k10 custom deluxe in the state of Montana about 5 years ago. The truck appealed to me because nothing was altered , modified , or messed with. It had 60k miles and was the original owner . 1 look at the truck and I felt like it was 1978 all over again. The interior still had the smell I remember from dads truck. 350 Chevy engine with 4 barrel carb that runs very strong and smooth. Still has original GM radiator hoses on it , and original hose clamps on radiator hoses , and heater core hoses. Still has chalk marks behind the distributor , and bottom of the hood. Original heat shields to keep exhaust manifold heat off the spark plug wires. 4 speed sm465 heavy duty manual transmission with np 205 transfer case and lock out hubs. Factory 3.73 axle ratios ! RARE - Factory dual exhaust truck - look at build sheet. Frame , original unaltered and zero rust. Original brake and fuel lines , even emergency brake lines are original and work ! Body original, no rust , 1 repaint - was professionally stripped to bare steel, small dings repaired and professionally repainted 2 years ago. Original mahogany color from 1977. Door jambs and all where refinished. Box was separated from cab and paint was applied between. Color is amazing and matches dash color perfect. Inside the truck bed was in good original survivor condition and was left alone . Still used as a truck , lightly. No dents in the bed floor, very straight. Bumpers are original and factory white . The interior is original. I did not try to armor all it up and make it look better than it is . The dash has the typical crack, the rubber floor mat has a tear . The seat is original and is in very good shape , and not all tore up. Still original vinyl, not reupholstered in a different fabric. Door panels are original. Factory tilt steering column, factory dual gas tank truck. Gas gauge does the typical work, not work thing depending on the day . I usually fill both tanks as backup . Truck sounds great with dual exhaust and honestly drives like a 2 wheel drive truck even though its 4wheel drive 4x4. Smooth, straight , no bumps or rattles . I taught my girlfriend to drive manual, and her first truck. She enjoys driving this truck and could drive it from NY to California Easy and fun to drive. New tires - general grabber 31-10.50x15 fit the truck perfect. New wheels . Original white steel wheels and hubcaps will be placed in the bed of the truck and included in sale . These original wheels have almost new tires on them too, with raised white letters size is 235/75/15 Professional trailer brake and 7 and 4 pin plug installed by UHAUL $400 Clear title and bill of sale included .
