Up for auction is this 1964 Ford Thunderbird. It has a 390 V8 (believed not to be original) with Power Steering and Power Brakes. This car was in a 30 year coma stored indoors on concrete the entire time until I brought it home last fall. The engine runs a bit rough with a little blue out the back. Auto transmission works and drives in the parking lot. It needs a little more work to be Hwy worthy. I have installed a new fuel pump, master brake Cylinder, New brake shoes and Wheel cylinders on all for corners. It now stops but the pedal is super hard so I suspect it will need a power brake booster as well. I bought this as a project for my son and I but circumstances beyond my control force the sale. This car has a clear Minnesota title and Minnesota license plates. Prior to Feb 1985 it was a California car. (note Previously Titled in CA. in Photo #2) In the photos you will find a copy of the Wisconsin title I received when I bought the vehicle. On that copy I highlighted the Feb 1985 date it was issued along with the July 1985 date the lean release was made and the title was dated sold. The guy I bought it from gave me this title last fall which I transferred into my name. This is a great resto candidate or with a little more work you can get her road worthy and go with the patina look. The body is solid with really just surface rust. the carpet in the floors has been cut out so the floor could be inspected which they were and they are solid. The trunk looks uglier than it is but there are a couple dime size holes above the mufflers where the metal is getting a bit thin. Included with the car are the original hubcaps, the windshield wiper fluid bag and a new headliner that has not been installed.
