Vehicle Detail
This is a one owner 1992 Ford F150 Extended Cab 4 Wheel drive Long Bed Pickup. I bought it from the original owner's wife with the intention of keeping it. Due to a job change shortly after aquiring the truck, I had to buy a newer truck for work. The truck is from Washington State and has absolutely no rust. All paint is original except for a touch up on the front of the hood. The truck is extremely clean and straight but does show some of the normal wear of a 24 year old truck. There is one small dent on the passenger side bed that shows in the pics. The back side moulding on the drivers side is peeling (see pics). Look at the pic of the inside of the bed. When I got the truck, it had a rubber mat that sat inside of a bed liner. When I removed the bed liner (had paint spilt on it), the original owner had lined the bed with soft foam between the liner and the bed. That is all original paint you are looking at in that bed. It also has a sliding rear window. The four wheel dirve is a manual floor shifter with automatic hubs. When I was driving it back to Colorado from Washington, I was in a blizzard from Idaho Falls to Salt Lake City. The four wheel drive performed flawlessly. I shifted on the fly mutliple times while in and out of the snow and never had an issue. Since aquiring it, I have replaced the battery and had the A/C converted to R134. The A/C is working as it should. The only issue that the truck has that I am aware of is that the fuel guage does not work. It is pegged all the way past full. I have talked with two different mechanics and they have both said it would be an easy fix. Due to it being pegged past full on either tank, the sending units are good but there is a short in the guage or it is gounding out. In either case they say it is easy to fix, just a little time to track it down. The tires are new Firestone Destination AT's. They have about 2K miles on them. It is a bucket seat interior with the center console. The interior on this truck is extremely clean. There are no stains in either the carpet or the the seats and no tears in the seats. I would give the interior a 9.5 out of 10. There is a matching fiberglass topper available to the winning bidder if they want it. It is included in the sale price of the truck. If the winning bidder does not want it, I will dispose of it. It is in good shape. The truck is still titled in the State of Washington. I have the signed title from the original owner's wife. I have not licensed it to my name. The vehicle has a clean carfax but it shows two owners as the original owner's wife had to retitle it to settle the estate and sell it. If you have any questions or need additional pics of something specific, please call me at 720-541-0705. If you want to have a prepurchase inspection arranged before the close of the auction, please call me and I will help you arrange it. After the auction it will be too late for an inspection as you will be the new owner. The winning bidder will be required to pay a $1000.00 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the auction closing. The balance will need to be wire transferred with 72 hours. The truck can be picked up or shipped after the wire transfer has cleared. This is an extremely clean and well maintained and preserved 1992 truck. It is sold as is with no expressed or implied warranties. I have a fair reserve on it but please don't ask me what it is. Bid based on what you can afford and think the truck is worth. Again, please call with any questions and good luck biding. Call Wally @ 720-541-0705 with any questions.
